If These Walls Could Talk…

If you live in an older home such as mine, you may not have properly insulated walls. My home is older, and luckily, a previous home owner took the initiative to insulate most of the exterior walls. However, the next home owner built an addition, and failed to insulate those exterior walls.

I quickly realized I had a problem because I could not regulate the temperature in that specific area of my home. I checked to make sure the walls were insulated by drilling a small 2″-3″ hole in my interior wall and peaking in the cavity. Sure enough, no insulation.

If your home is older, and you find you have no insulation in your exterior walls, you may choose to insulate with either
blown fiberglass insulation
or expanding
foam insulation
.

The Process: After removing a strip of your exterior siding, we will drill small holes in each cavity and fill that cavity with blown fiberglass insulation or expanding foam. When finished, we can plug the holes and carefully reattach the siding.

You will notice the difference immediately – in the comfort of your home and the lowered energy costs!
